General Guidelines

Dosage and Administration
Before use, inform your doctor or pharmacist about any other medications or herbal products you are taking.
General Dosage
Adults: 1–2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Never take more than 2 tablets at once or more than 8 tablets in 24 hours.
Children over 12 years: 1 tablet every 6 hours. Do not exceed 5 tablets in 24 hours unless prescribed by a doctor.
If a dose is missed
Take the missed dose as soon as possible on the same day and continue subsequent doses according to the regular schedule.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medication during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Contraindications
Should not be used in children under 12 years of age.
Warnings and Precautions
If using this medication OTC without a doctor’s prescription, pay attention to the following:
Inform your doctor if you have a history of severe kidney or liver problems, bleeding, or stomach ulcers.
Avoid using the medication with alcohol-containing products.
Do not take more than 2 tablets per dose or more than 8 tablets in 24 hours.
Use with caution in patients with heart disease; avoid in patients with arrhythmia.
Avoid concurrent use with other acetaminophen-containing products.
In case of accidental overdose, seek immediate medical attention.
Avoid taking the medication close to bedtime.
Drug Interactions
This medication should not be used simultaneously with the following:
Barbiturates
Carbamazepine
Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
Aspirin and other salicylates
Anticoagulant medications
Side Effects
Like any medication, while providing therapeutic benefits, this drug may also cause unwanted effects. Not all of these occur in a single individual. Inform your doctor or pharmacist if any of the following occur:
Bloody, black, or tarry stools
Cloudy urine or blood in urine
Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice)
Skin rash, back pain, itching
Appearance of white spots or sores on the lips or mouth
Sore throat, dizziness, nausea, vomiting
Long-term use of higher-than-recommended therapeutic doses may cause toxicity. Symptoms of toxicity typically include nausea and vomiting within the first 24 hours, followed by abdominal pain and tenderness.
If any of these symptoms occur or in case of accidental overdose, seek medical attention immediately.
If respiratory problems develop or there is a history of respiratory issues with other NSAIDs, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
If unexplained bruising or bleeding occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
