Proper Use of Opheen
The dosage of any medication is determined by the doctor, but the general dosage of this medication is as follows:
Weight 2.7 to 5.3 kg, Age 0 to 3 months: Dose 40 mg (0.4 ml)
Weight 5.4 to 8.1 kg, Age 4 to 11 months: Dose 80 mg (0.8 ml)
Weight 8.2 to 10.8 kg, Age 12 to 24 months: Dose 120 mg (1.2 ml)
If a dose is missed, take the missed dose as soon as possible on the same day, and continue with the regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose.
Warnings
Opheen Contraindications
Do not use with other products containing acetaminophen.
In case of a history of allergy to acetaminophen.
Warnings and Precautions
In case of accidental consumption of more than the prescribed dose, immediately contact a doctor or a poison control center.
Use in children under 3 years of age should be under a doctor’s supervision.
Avoid simultaneous use of this medication with other acetaminophen-containing products.
Drug Interactions
Opheen should not be used concurrently with the following:
Concurrent use with barbiturates and carbamazepine may reduce the effectiveness of acetaminophen and increase the risk of liver damage.
Side Effects
Like any medication, while therapeutic effects are intended, some unwanted side effects may occur. Not all side effects occur in a single individual. If the following side effects are observed, stop taking the medication and do not continue:
If any skin rash appears, discontinue the medication and consult a doctor.
Storage Conditions
Keep the medication in its original packaging until the end of the treatment course.
Store away from light and moisture, at a temperature below 30°C, and protect from freezing.
Once the bottle is opened, it can be used for one month.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
