Adeeve Prime

This medication consists of a combination of two active ingredients: Ibuprofen and Methocarbamol. Ibuprofen belongs to the analgesic (pain reliever) and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) class, while Methocarbamol belongs to the muscle relaxant class. It is used for the treatment of muscle pain and muscle spasms.

Product Information

Each tablet contains Ibuprofen 200 mg and Methocarbamol 500 mg

General Instructions

This medication has been prescribed for your current condition; therefore, avoid using it in similar cases or recommending it to others. Before taking this medication, inform your doctor or pharmacist of the following:

  • Any allergies

  • Use of other medications

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding

  • Presence of other medical conditions

Indications

Dosage and Administration of Adeeve Prime

The dosage of each medication should be determined by your physician; however, the general recommended dosage for this medicine is as follows:

  • Adults: 2 to 3 tablets, once or twice daily.

If you forget to take a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible on the same day, and continue the next doses as per your regular schedule.

Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one.

Do not discontinue taking Adeeve Prime without consulting your doctor.

Pregnancy and Lactation

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medication during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Warnings

Contraindications of Adeeve Prime

  • Do not use this product if you are taking other medications containing methocarbamol or ibuprofen, or if you have a known hypersensitivity to these substances or any of the excipients in the formulation.

  • Avoid using this medication if you have a history of hypersensitivity to ibuprofen, such as anaphylactic reactions, skin reactions, asthma, allergic rhinitis, or inflammation of the face, tongue, lips, or throat.

  • Do not use this medicine if you are taking other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

  • This medicine is contraindicated in patients with a history of peptic ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding.

  • Avoid using this medicine if you have a history of kidney, liver, or heart disease.

Warnings and Precautions

  • Avoid the concurrent use of this medication with other products containing ibuprofen.

  • Take the medicine with or immediately after food, accompanied by a full glass of water.

  • Avoid consuming alcohol during treatment with this medication.

  • This drug may cause drowsiness; therefore, refrain from driving or operating machinery that requires full alertness.

Drug Interactions

This medication should not be used concurrently with the following:

  • Anticoagulants and antihypertensive drugs — concurrent use is not recommended. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication.

  • Sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, and central nervous system depressants — concurrent use is not recommended due to the presence of methocarbamol.

Side Effects

Like all medicines, this product may cause undesirable side effects in addition to its therapeutic effects. However, not all individuals will experience them.

Notify your doctor or pharmacist if you experience any abnormal symptoms or side effects.

If you notice severe gastrointestinal symptoms such as pain, bleeding, or changes in digestive function, discontinue use immediately and consult your physician.

Storage Conditions

  • Store below 30°C, away from light and moisture.

  • Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

  • Close the container tightly after each use.
