Adeeve Plus

This tablet contains acetaminophen and ibuprofen, where acetaminophen belongs to the analgesics and pain relievers category and ibuprofen belongs to the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) category. It is used as a painkiller and analgesic for pains such as toothache, headache, menstrual pain, mild muscle pain and sprains, mild sore throat, and to relieve symptoms of cold and influenza, and is also used for high fevers.

General Guidelines

This medication has been prescribed for the treatment of your current condition; therefore, do not use it in similar cases or recommend it to others. Before using this medication, inform your doctor or pharmacist of the following:

  • Any known allergies

  • Use of other medications

  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding

  • Presence of other medical conditions

Indications

Dosage and Administration of Adeeve Plus

The exact dosage should be determined by your physician; however, the general recommended dosage is as follows:

  • In children over 12 years old: 1 tablet every 8 hours as needed.

  • If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible on the same day and continue with the regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose.

  • Do not discontinue Adiu Plus without consulting your doctor.

  • Do not take more than 6 tablets in 24 hours or more than 2 tablets at a time.

Warnings

Contraindications of Adiu Plus

  • If you are using other medications containing acetaminophen and ibuprofen.

  • In case of allergy to ibuprofen, such as anaphylactic reactions, skin reactions, or a history of asthma, allergic rhinitis, or inflammation of the face, tongue, lips, or throat.

  • If you are using other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

  • In case of history of stomach ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding.

  • In case of kidney, liver, or heart disease.

  • In children under 12 years old.

Warnings and Precautions

  • Not to be used in children under 12 years old.

  • Do not use this medication concurrently with other products containing acetaminophen or ibuprofen.

  • This medication may cause drowsiness; avoid driving or operating machinery that requires full alertness.

  • Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours or more than 2 tablets at a time.

  • In case of accidental overdose, immediately consult your doctor or a poison control center.

  • Take the medication with or immediately after food along with a glass of water.

  • Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medication.

Drug Interactions

Before use, it is recommended to inform your doctor or pharmacist about your medication history.

  • Concurrent use with barbiturates and carbamazepine may reduce the effect of acetaminophen and increase the risk of liver damage.

  • Concurrent use with anticoagulants and blood pressure medications is not recommended; consult your doctor or pharmacist before use.

Side Effects

Like all medications, this drug may cause some undesirable effects alongside its therapeutic benefits, although not all side effects occur in every individual.
Discontinue use and avoid further consumption if any of the following occur:

  • Any skin rash; consult your doctor.

  • Gastrointestinal symptoms, such as pain or bleeding; consult your doctor.

Storage Conditions

  • Store below 30°C, away from light and moisture, in the original packaging.

  • Keep out of the reach of children.

Each box contains one bottle of 14 or 20 Adiu Plus tablets.
